Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure in which the skin is penetrated with microneedles. This method can be used to increase percutaneous collagen induction and to improve transdermal drug uptake.
With micro-needling, the skin is treated with a so-called Dermaroller or Dermapen, which is fitted with a large number of very fine, short needles. By piercing the top layer of skin, the epidermis, certain receptors are irritated, so that more growth factors are subsequently released into the skin. These growth factors in turn stimulate the new production of collagen and elastic fibers as well as hyaluronic acid in the connective tissue - for more elasticity and strength.

The basis for this modern, minimally invasive treatment method is the use of the body's own blood. This is processed using a special process. The highly concentrated blood plasma obtained from this contains substances that influence the synthesis of new collagen and the formation of elastin in the skin.
So there is an active, endogenous "skin rejuvenation" and regeneration. The skin structure is improved, wrinkles are smoothed and the moisture retention of the skin is optimized.
Plasma lifting is the biological alternative to wrinkle injection with fillers, hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin. Other names of this method of skin rejuvenation are autologous blood lifting, bio-lifting and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) method, PRP therapy or vampire lifting.
PRP is used not only to improve skin quality and as an anti-aging treatment, but also against hair loss and in sports medicine.
The PRP can stimulate rejuvenation and cell regeneration at the hair roots in the scalp. This so-called autologous cell regeneration can stop hair loss and stimulate hair growth.
